If you’ve got a chapel with an organ, and are pretty good at planning large events on short notice, why not? Cultural trends and the economy in general may be closing down some wedding venues, but funeral homes are here to stay. Consumers are drawn to this idea because of greater availability, less expense, and the elegant surroundings. They rationalize that churches also host caskets and funerals, so what’s the difference? Am I the only one who finds this just a bit creepy?
